LONDON (Alliance News) - Acorn income Fund Ltd Thursday said its net asset value total return slightly underperformed its benchmark in the first half of 2014.
The closed-ended investment company said its net asset value per share fell fractionally to 359.20 pence over the six months to June 30, from 359.97 pence.
However, it said that with 6.25 pence of dividends per share distributed over the period, total return was rose 1.52%.
During the first half, the FTSE All Share Index total return rose 1.6%.
Shares in the company closed trading 0.4% higher Thursday at 330.90 pence.
