LONDON (Alliance News) - Chemical technology company Accsys Technologies PLC on Thursday said it has signed a new agreement with Belgian chemical company Solvay SA to refine the relationship between the pair.
The agreement covers the licensing, marketing and manufacturing of Accoya, Accsys's wood product, and will provide the framework and funding for a significant increase in Accsys's manufacturing capacity at its plant in Arnhem in the Netherlands.
Accsys will double the existing manufacturing capacity at the site in stages, while it will provide sales and marketing services to Solvay in Europe.
No financial details were disclosed.
Shares in Accsys were up 5.2% to 71.00 pence on Thursday.
