(Alliance News) - Accrol Group Holdings PLC on Tuesday said all resolutions passed at its annual general meeting despite notable objection to its remuneration report.
Overall, 31.8 million or 30% of votes cast on resolution four, "to approve the directors' remuneration report", were opposed. This compares to 73.5 million votes in favour or 70%.
Tissue converter Accrol said: "In compliance with the [Quoted Companies Alliance] Code, the board notes the percentage of votes cast against resolution 4 to approve the directors' remuneration report. Shareholders with significant holdings in the company were consulted ahead of the vote and the board remains open to further discussions."
Shares in Accrol closed down 3.2% at 29.52 pence in London on Tuesday.
