LONDON (Alliance News) - Accesso Technology Group PLC Thursday said it has launched the latest version of the Accesso Passport e-commerce solution.
In a statement, Accesso said the new version of the solution is designed to be easier for attractions to meet the demand from guests to make purchases on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
"Mobile is now increasingly the first, last and sometimes only point of call for consumers seeking to purchase theme park tickets and access special experiences once inside the park. Today as much as 30 to 40 percent of online ticket sales are being made on a mobile device," said Accesso Chief Executive Tom Burnet.
"That trend is only going to continue to grow and today's release is designed to capture that opportunity to the fullest," he added.
Accesso Technology shares were up 2.2% to 503.5 pence on Thursday.
