LONDON (Alliance News) - Accesso Technology Group PLC Thursday said Merlin Entertainments PLC has agreed to extend its current trial of the accesso Passport suite of ticketing and e-commerce solutions to four venues in the US.
The Passport suite is a ticketing system that allows operators to provide a comprehensive online shopping experience with access to online, tablet and mobile ticket sales and on-site sales.
The suite is already being trialled in the UK's Thorpe Park and Sea Life Birmingham attractions by Merlin, which was announced in March. Merlin have now extended the Passport suite to its Legoland Florida attraction and three Orlando attractions including Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds and Sea Life, which will all begin trialling the ticketing suite from Spring 2015, it said in a statement.
"We are delighted that Merlin has chosen to place further trust in us and in the potential of the accesso Passport suite of products. We all look forward to getting the trial roll-outs underway and to further reinforcing our hard-earned reputation for innovation and customer experience," said Chief Executive Tom Burnet.
Accesso shares were up 1.2% to 518.60 pence per share Thursday morning.
