LONDON (Alliance News) - Acacia Mining PLC on Tuesday said that a accident at North Mara gold mine located in the Mara region of Tanzania led to the death of a contractor's operator early Monday.
The company said Sadock Tindahinile died in an accident involving a reversing vehicle at the Gokona deposit in North Mara mine.
The company added that no other injuries have been reported and that it is now investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Acacia Mining shares were trading 3.2% lower at 118.31 pence each.
