LONDON (Alliance News) - Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust PLC Friday said its net asset value rose 7.9% in the three months to May 31, narrowly underperforming its benchmark which rose 8.0%.
The trust's investment objective is to provide shareholders with a high level of long-term, above average capital growth through investment in Thailand.
The trust's benchmark is the Stock Exchange of Thailand Index.
Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust said it share price rose 7.4% in the period.
The trust's shares were down 0.1% at 392.00 pence Friday afternoon.
