(Alliance News) - Investment firm Aberdeen Diversified Income & Growth Trust PLC said on Thursday that it has appointed by Anna Troup and Trevor Bradley as independent non-executive directors with immediate effect.
The duo were appointed following a search conducted by independent recruitment consultants, Aberdeen Diversified said.
Troup has been involved in the financial services industry since 1997, the company said, and was most recently the UK bespoke solutions head at asset managers Legal & General Investment Management PLC. She is also a non-executive at T. Baily Fund Services Ltd.
Bradley was formerly a partner at investment managers Ruffer LLP and was responsible for growing and leading the firm's institutional investment business, Aberdeen Diversified said.
Chair James Long said: "The board is delighted to have appointed directors of the calibre of Troup and Bradley who each bring considerable investment management and other valuable experience to the company."
Shares in Aberdeen Diversified closed up 0.2% at 110.50 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
