LONDON (Alliance News) - Life science research tools supplier Abcam PLC said Monday it is positioned to meet its financial and strategic objectives for the full year.
In a statement ahead of its annual general meeting, Abcam reiterated that trading in its current financial year has started well, with positive momentum from the second half of the previous year continuing as it invests in new products and capabilities and increased its geographic penetration.
At the time of its full-year results in September, the company said that the environment for government-funded research was more challenging in western territories due to fiscal deficits. However it said it had seen signs of stability in the US as modest funding increases were approved.
Shares in Abcam are trading up 2.4% at 409.50 pence early Monday morning.
