LONDON (Alliance News) - AB Dynamics PLC on Thursday said it received the first order for an advanced vehicle driving simulator.
The manufacturer said the order was placed by a Chinese test house and is valued at more than GBP2.0 million. AB Dynamics expects to deliver the product in early 2019.
The company said that most of the value of the contract will be recognised in its next financial year starting in September.
"Following more than two years of development work in conjunction with Williams Advanced Engineering we are very pleased to have achieved our first sale of the advanced vehicle driving simulator," said Chairman Tony Best.
"This new line of product will underpin and strengthen our position supplying test equipment to the global automotive industry," added Best.
The stock was trading 1.7% higher at 1,142.00 pence per share on Thursday.
