(Alliance News) - Automotive industry-focused testing firm AB Dynamics PLC said Thursday it hired Carclo PLC Finance Director Sarah Matthews-DeMers as its new numbers chief from early November.
Matthews-DeMers - a chartered accountant - will join AB Dynamics as chief financial officer from November 4, having been at Carclo since July 2018. Prior to Carclo, she served as strategy director at Rotork PLC and had been deputy finance director at Avon Rubber PLC.
In February, former AB Dynamics CFO Robert Hart announced he would stand down from the firm in July.
"I am very pleased that Sarah will be joining AB Dynamics and congratulate her on her appointment to this important leadership role," AB Dynamics Chief Executive Officer James Routh said. "Sarah brings extensive experience of financial management in public company environments, investor relations and strategic development. I am confident her expertise and judgement will prove a real asset as we take advantage of the significant market opportunities ahead."
Shares in AB Dynamics were 0.3% lower at 2,553.00 pence in London on Thursday.
