Poolbeg Pharma PLC - London-based biopharmaceutical firm focused on cancer immunotherapy - Raises GBP3.5 million from a placing of 58.3 million new shares at 6 pence each. The placing price is a discount of 16% from the stock's closing market price on Monday. The funds will be used to fund two drug trials through to completion, extending Poolbeg's cash runway into the second quarter of 2028. The share placing is run by broker Oak Securities. "This successful fundraise is a great market endorsement of Poolbeg, our strategy and pipeline," says Chief Executive Officer Jeremny Skillington. Trekor Metals Ltd - North America-focused copper producer formerly known as Taseko Mines - Says in the second quarter of 2026, at its Gibraltar mine in British Columbia in Canada, it produced 30.3 million pounds of copper and 559,000 pounds of molybdenum. Copper sales from Gibraltar totalled 32.2 million pounds. At Florence Copper in Arizona meanwhile, Trekor says the production ramp-up advanced smoothly in recent months, with a total of 5.2 million pounds of copper cathode produced in the second quarter. The firm says: "With the wellfield and solvent extraction/electrowinning plant operating steady-state, the first new production wells were integrated into the system in early June, resulting in higher pregnant leach solution grades and increased copper production for the month. Aminex PLC - oil and gas company with operations in Tanzania - Says ARA Petroleum Tanzania Ltd, the operator of the Ruvuma production sharing contract and the Ntorya development, is requesting amendments to the 2026 work programme and budget, including "a significant reduction in the 2026 work programme & budget that will result in a delay to the production of first gas and the drilling of the Chikumbi-1 well." That follows a change of management at ARA Petroleum LLC, and a technical appraisal of the Ntorya development. Aminex says the proposals have not been approved by it nor by Tanzania Petroleum Development Corp, alias TPDC, which was also requested to accept the amendments. Read More
