(Alliance News) - Gaming company 888 Holdings PLC on Tuesday announced the departure of long-standing Chief Financial Officer Aviad Kobrine.
Kobrine will leave the company "during 2020", 888 said, having served as finance chief at the company since 2005. He joined the company the year before ahead of 888's float in London.
888 said he will remain in his position until a successor has been found.
Chair Brian Mattingley commented: "Aviad has made a truly outstanding contribution to 888. He has played a significant role in helping to develop 888 into the world class online gaming operator it is today.
"Aviad has been an integral part of the leadership team throughout a transformational period for the company. Over recent years, he has supported 888's growth into new markets whilst also helping the group to successfully manage and navigate significant changes in our industry. On behalf of everyone at 888, I would like to wish Aviad every success for the future."
"Aviad will be staying in his role while the board finds his successor. We will provide a further update as and when appropriate," Kobrine added.
Shares in Gibraltar-based 888 were 3.0% lower on Tuesday morning at a price of 147.80 pence each.
Last week, the company said earnings for 2019 were set to be in line with expectations, with revenue in December setting a monthly record.
