LONDON (Alliance News) - 88 Energy Ltd on Friday said drilling operations on the Icewine 1 well in Alaska have restarted following the completion of repair work on the rig.
88 Energy had said on Tuesday the repairs at the site had been delayed after the specialist engineer from the manufacturer was unexpectedly held up by visa issues at the US-Canada border.
Drilling has now restarted, and the group said the project remains on time and on budget, as it had gained time prior to the issue arising.
Shares in 88 Energy were down 1.0% to 0.619 pence Friday morning.
