LONDON (Alliance News) - 7digtal Group PLC Tuesday said it has partnered with contract-free mobile phone operator ROK Mobile to power ROK Mobile's music streaming service, which will launch in the US next month and roll-out in other countries after that.
The digital music and radio service company said its platform will be used to power ROK Mobile's music streaming service, which will give its customers access to on-demand music and personalised radio, optimised for mobile.
The ROK music service will allow users to stream millions of songs on demand, create personalised radio stations and filter them based on mood and other dynamic filters.
7digital said the service is expected to be launched in the US on July 4, in conjunction with carriers T-Mobile and Sprint, which will be followed by an international roll-out in various countries.
The company's shares were up 3.0% at 26.00 pence Tuesday morning.
