LONDON (Alliance News) - Business-to-business digital music and radio services company 7digital Group PLC on Thursday said it has signed a contract with social media platform musical.ly.
Musical.ly is based around video and music content, 7digital said, adding the deal will contribute to its revenue in 2016. No specific financial details were disclosed.
7digital added its client i.am+, the technology company founded by musician and producer Will.i.am, is now taking pre-orders for its Dial wearable 'smartcuff' devices, ahead of its launch on May 13.
"The musical.ly contract win highlights 7digital's continued global expansion as the company increases its reach into further territories, while availability of the i.am+ Dial for pre-order marks a significant moment in this long-term partnership," said 7digital Chief Executive Simon Cole.
Shares in 7digital were up 18% to 7.20 pence.
