(Alliance News) - Shares in 7digital Group PLC soared on Thursday after the digital music and radio services platform secured a contract from an unnamed global technology company.
7digital shares were trading 50% higher at 3.66 pence each in London. On Wednesday, the stock had closed at 2.45p.
Under the contract, which starts in August and continues into 2021, 7digital will provide access to its global music catalogue, tracking, and reporting services in support of new music-based experiences.
The new partner will use 7digital's platform to access a worldwide music catalogue from rights-secured labels, and the new deal also includes tracking and reporting services, 7digital said.
