4imprint Profit Grows In First Half As It Gains New Customers

29th Jul 2015 09:54

LONDON (Alliance News) - 4imprint Group PLC Wednesday reported growth in profit in the first half of 2015 as revenue increased as it gained new customers and retained existing customers with its data-driven online and offline marketing techniques.

The promotional products provider said that pretax profit in the half year to June 27 grew to USD11.4 million from USD7.3 million, as revenue rose to USD231 million from USD193.1 million. It said that organic growth continues to be driven by data-driven online and offline marketing techniques designed to attract new customers as well as retaining existing customers.

More than 100,000 new customers were acquired in the period and orders from those customers increased 19% compared with the same period the year before. Orders from existing customers increased 22% on the same period the prior year, with consistent retention rates.

4imprint will pay an interim dividend of 7.75 pence, up from the 6.2p it paid the prior year.

"Indications for the balance of the year are for a good performance in keeping with our strategic growth objectives, despite the strong growth comparator in the second half of 2014. The group expects a good outcome for the year as a whole," Chairman John Poulter said in a statement.

Shares in 4imprint were trading up 3.3% at 1,185.00 pence Wednesday morning.
