LONDON (Alliance News) - 3Legs Resources PLC Tuesday said it has completed drilling at the Lublewo LEP-1 vertical well in Poland and a flow test from the Strzeszewo LE-1 well has achieved gas flow to the surface.
The oil and gas exploration and development company said drilling of the Lublewo LEP-1 vertical well in Poland has reached a total depth of 2,924 metres, with 141 metres of core being recovered for logging.
The company said preliminary data shows that, as expected, the Sasino shale formation has a similar thickness to that from the Strzeszewo LE-1 well and the Piasnica shale zone is slightly thinner than that seen at the Strzeszewo LE-1 well.
The company said the well has been cased, cemented and suspended and the rig will shortly move to its next location.
3Legs also said a flow test carried out on the Strzeszewo LE-1 well achieved gas flow to the surface and a pressurebuild-up test is now being conducted.
The company said the construction of the location for its next vertical well is well advanced and is expected to be completed by the end of January.
3Legs shares were up 0.2% to 23.30 pence Tuesday.
