(Alliance News) - 3i Infrastructure PLC on Tuesday said it has approved the appointment of Samantha Hoe-Richardson as a non-executive director from the beginning of January next year.
The FTSE 250-listed investment firm explained that it has decided to broaden its expertise in environmental and sustainability matters.
Hoe-Richardson brings an in-depth understanding with over ten years' experience covering these issues, most recently in the infrastructure sector, 3i said. She is currently a non-executive director and chair of the audit committees for both Lancashire Holdings Ltd and Unum Ltd.
"I am delighted that Samantha has agreed to join the board. Samantha's deep expertise and experience, particularly on sustainability and the environment, will be invaluable to the company," said Chair Richard Laing.
3i Infrastructure shares were 0.6% lower in late trading on Tuesday in London at 293.29 pence each.
