LONDON (Alliance News) - 21st Century Technology PLC on Monday said it has won a GBP1.0 million contract with an unnamed "Antipodean" bus operator, meaning based in Australia or New Zealand.
Under the contract, 21st Century will provide training, engineering services and equipment for a fleet upgrade including CCTV and wireless download systems. The contract will start with immediate effect and complete in 2017.
The unnamed bus operator has a total fleet size of over 1,000 buses, approximately 1,900 employees and carries over 50 million passengers a year.
"We are delighted that this new customer has chosen 21st Century as their technical partner to provide engineering support and services as they upgrade their CCTV and introduce wireless video downloads on their fleets," said 21st Century Chief Executive Russ Singleton.
