LONDON (Alliance News) - 1Spatial PLC, the AIM-listed big data company, Tuesday reported a narrower loss for the first half of the year as revenues rose and impairments fell.
The company reported a net loss of GBP483,000 for the six months to end-June, compared with a loss of GBP1.1 million a year earlier, as revenues rose to GBP7.6 million from GBP6.4 million and impairments fell to GBP239,000 from GBP502,000.
It had GBP14.2 million in cash at the end of the period.
The company also said Tuesday that it has launched its 1Spatial Management Suite for general release at the Asia Geospatial Forum in Malaysia. The data management program enables users to efficiently plan, maintain and publish large amounts of spatial data, whilst automating production workflows.
"The board is encouraged by the progress made during this half year and we look forward to the future with confidence," Chief Executive Marcus Hanke.
The company's shares were down 7.8% at 8.525 pence Tuesday morning,
