STS Global Income & Growth Trust PLC - Edinburgh-based investment company - Reports a total net asset value return of negative 1.8% in the year ended March 31, compared to a total return of positive 0.5% for the Lipper Global - Equity Global Income Index in the same period. Says: "The relative return for the year was consistent in the sense that when markets, and generally in the first half of the period, were in a "risk off" mode relative returns were good.
