Southern Energy Corp - oil and gas company focussed on the US state of Mississippi - Net loss in the first quarter of 2022 widens to USD1.9 million from USD631,000 the previous year despite petroleum and natural gas sales surging in the year. Quarterly sales rise 54% to USD5.9 million from USD3.9 million the previous year. Production in the quarter decreased 11% against the same period in 2021, with average production falling to 1,919 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
