Kennedy #1H Well----------------- Empyrean has been advised that at 6am Texas time on 9 October, 2007 the Kennedy#1H exploration well, located in the onshore Gulf Coast Basin in Texas, USA wasdrilling ahead at a depth of 11,803 feet (3,598 metres) and preparing to kick off into the horizontal section. The proposed total depth for this well is 17,570 feet Measured Depth. Sugarloaf-1 Well---------------- Empyrean has been advised that the recently fracture stimulated deepest zone hasbeen flow tested but failed to flow. This result is not unexpected because thefracture stimulation was sub-optimal due to premature screen-out and only 6% ofthe proppant made it into the rock formation. The Opertator has proposed that the zone be re-fracced. If approved by the JointVenture, this operation will likely take place within 1 to 2 weeks.
