Pfizer to Explore Strategic Alternatives for Consumer Healthcare Business NEW YORK, Feb. 7 -- In response to media inquiries ahead of the company's February 10 meeting with financial analysts, Pfizer Inc said today it will be exploring strategic alternatives for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (PCH). These alternatives include retaining, spinning off or selling the business. The objective of the review is to unlock the value of the business for Pfizer shareholders at a time when market valuations are attractive for large, high-quality consumer businesses.
