Share Matching Plan Award
EPE Special Opportunities plc ("ESO plc" or the "Company") announces that on 21 December 2015 the Company made further awards under the Share Matching Plan. Awards of Matching Shares totalling 76,341 were made. A total of 20,794 Ordinary Shares were purchased out of Treasury by the Employee Benefit Trust (established under the Share Matching Plan) at a price of 108.5 pence per Ordinary Share to satisfy part of the awards.
The number of Ordinary Shares in issue following this transaction is 28,630,238 (including 1,467,065 shares held by the Employee Benefit Trust which have traditionally not voted) and is the figure to be used as the denominator for calculations of interests in the Company's voting rights.
