Proposed Disposal of Findel Education - Update on CMA process

Studio Retail Group plc (the "Company") notes the publication this morning by the CMA regarding its inquiry into the proposed disposal of Findel Education Limited to the Council of the City of Wakefield, acting in its capacity as the lead authority of the joint committee known as the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation ("YPO"), and is disappointed with its Provisional Findings and related Notice of Possible Remedies. The Company will be working with YPO to understand the rationale behind the Provisional Findings and further engage with the CMA as appropriate ahead of its Final Report.
