FUND MANAGER APPOINTMENT
ANDREW JACKSON APPOINTED
TO MANAGE CF MITON UK VALUE OPPORTUNITIES FUND
Miton Group plc ("Miton") today announces the appointment of Andrew Jackson as fund manager for the CF Miton UK Value Opportunities Fund.
Andrew will join Miton on Monday 27th June 2016 having previously worked at Ecclesiastical Investment Management (now EdenTree Investment Management) from November 2003 until his departure in July 2015. During this period Andrew managed the top quartile Ecclesiastical (now EdenTree) UK Equity Growth Fund, returning 263.7% compared to 153.3% for the sector average and 151.5% for the FTSE All Share Index. Andrew was a Citywire AAA-rated manager from December 2012 until his departure from Ecclesiastical in July 2015 (32 consecutive months).
Commenting on the appointment Gervais Williams, Miton's Managing Director, said:

Andrew joined Ecclesiastical Investment Management as a fund manager in November 2003 and was manager of the Ecclesiastical UK Equity Growth Fund until July 2015. During his career he has been responsible for UK and Irish equity investments at Canada Life, managed the specialist UK Small Cap Funds for Lloyds Investment Managers (later Hill Samuel Asset Management) and helped to set up the Smaller Companies Desk at SG Asset Management.
