CANACCORD FINANCIAL INC. DISCLOSES SHARE DEALINGS

TORONTO, May 23, 2013 - Canaccord Financial Inc. (the "Company") announces thatDipesh Shah, an independent director, was on May 22, 2013, awarded 3,015.46Deferred Share Units ("DSUs") in respect of his service as a director betweenthe date of his appointment as a director on November 7, 2012, and March 31,2013. A DSU is a book-keeping entry that tracks the value of one common shareof the Company. DSUs are paid out in cash when the director leaves the board ofdirectors of the Company but does not give any rights to receive common shares.
