Swansea based Pure Wafer plc, the provider of high quality silicon wafer reclaim services for many of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Boyd to the Board as a non-executive director, effective from 1st October 2008.
Stephen, aged 58, a chemical engineer by training, having gained a 1st class honours degree in chemical engineering at Imperial College, London, has worked in a number of manufacturing industries including five years as Group Chief Executive of Capital Holdings plc.
Stephen currently sits on a number of boards of both public and private companies, mainly in the technology sector, and is currently Chairman of Pittards plc.

Mr Boyd was a director of Surface Inspection Group Limited, which was subject to an asset sale, VAC Realisations Limited which was put into administrative receivership when its main property asset was sold, and Citech Limited and subsidiaries which were subject to an asset sale, with no deterioration in the position of creditors.
There are no further disclosures to be made in respect of Mr Stephen Boyd under the provisions of paragraph g of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies.
