Approval of Supervisors' Appointment Qualifications

References are made to the notice of the AGM of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") dated 6 May 2024 (the "Notice") and the announcement dated 6 June 2024 on poll results for the AGM of the Company. Capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Notice unless otherwise specified. The Company elected Mr. DONG Zhiqiang as a shareholder representative supervisor of the Company at the AGM held on 6 June 2024, with a term of office until the expiry of the 10th session of the board of supervisors of the Company, and his appointment qualification was subject to the approval of the National Financial Regulatory Administration (the "NFRA").

Reference is made to the announcement on the election of employee representative supervisors of the Company dated 28 May 2024 (the "Announcement"). The Company convened an employee representatives meeting, at which Ms. ZHOU Liyun was elected as the employee representative supervisor of the 10th session of the board of supervisors of the Company, with a term of office until the expiry of the 10th session of the board of supervisors of the Company, and her appointment qualification was subject to the approval of the NFRA.

The Company is pleased to announce that the Company has recently received the "Approval of Appointment Qualification of DONG Zhiqiang as Supervisor of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd." (Jin Fu [2024] No. 611) and the "Approval of Appointment Qualification of ZHOU Liyun as Supervisor of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd." (Jin Fu [2024] No. 612) issued by the NFRA. The NFRA has approved the appointment qualifications of Mr. DONG Zhiqiang and Ms. ZHOU Liyun as supervisors of the Company. The term of office of Mr. DONG Zhiqiang and Ms. ZHOU Liyun as supervisors of the Company became effective on 13 September 2024.
