Appointment of Non-Executive Directors

MBL Group PLC (AIM: MUBL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Jackson-Smith and Christopher Jones as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with immediate effect.

Tim is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with 20 years' experience in legal practice, including ten years as a Partner. In addition, Tim has significant, relevant experience in the plc environment, having served for more than eight years in both executive and non-executive director roles at a number of Main Market and AIM listed companies.

Chris is a former managing partner of Hammonds (now part of Squire Patton Boggs), where he was also Head of Restructuring. He has also held senior non-executive directorships at the Britannia Building Society and The Cooperative Bank plc. He brings a wealth of experience to the Board and knows MBL well, having previously advised the Company.

Information in respect of Mr Jackson-Smith and Mr Jones, as required by Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies, is set out below.

Until January 2010, Tim was a partner at the law firm Halliwells LLP. In July 2010 Halliwells LLP entered administration and subsequently liquidation, which remains ongoing. At the time Halliwells entered administration there were over 100 partners and there have been no criticisms or findings against Tim in any reports relating to this matter.

Tim was a director of Knowledge Management Software plc, a software and services company. Tim left the company in October 2001 and it went into administration in September 2002. There were no criticisms/findings against Tim in any of the reports in relation to the insolvency.
