IN BRIEF: Steppe Cement Third Quarter Revenue Up On Higher Prices

Steppe Cement Ltd - Kazakhstan-focused construction materials firm - For the third quarter of 2020, revenue was up 5% to KZT11.11 billion, around USD26.0 million, from KZT10.56 billion. For the first nine months of 2020, revenue increased by 1% to KZT24.80 billion from KZT24.64 billion the prior year.

Sales volumes for the quarter was down 4% year-on-year to 556,162 tonnes, and was down 3% for the nine month period at 1.32 million tonnes. The average price for delivered cement rose to KZT18,841 per tonne for the nine-month period from KZT18,157 the year before.
