Modern Water secures sale of brine-concetrator technology for South Korea project

Modern Water said it had secured the sale of its largest by volume brine-concentrator technology, to be used in South Korea's first deep seawater salt production project. The plant would have capacity for treating approximately 13 cubic metres per hour of concentrating sea water sourced from a depth of up to 600 metres. The project will be executed by Modern Water in conjunction with Chinese partner Hangzhou Shangtuo Environmental Science and Technology, known as Sunup. 'Our partnership with Sunup is capable of delivering our innovative technology directly to customers across China - and now also in Asian markets beyond China, such as South Korea,' chief executive Simon Humphrey said.
