Jupiter Fund Management appoints Nichola Pease as chairman

Wealth manager Jupiter Fund Management said it had appointed Nichola Pease as its new chairman, to replace Liz Airey from 2 March. Airey had been chairman since September 2014. Pease was chief executive a subsequently deputy chairman of J O Hambro Capital Management from 1998 until 2008. She had also held a number of roles in the charity and public sectors. Rival wealth manager Shroders, meanwhile, said Pease had stood down as non-executive director in light of the Jupiter appointment. Damon Buffini had been appointed chairman of Shroder's remuneration committee and Rhian Davies has been appointed a member of the committee, both with immediate effect.
