Alien Metals said testing results and geological information collected from a filed trip to iron ore prospects in Western Australia state were 'highly encouraging'. The company was performing technical due diligence on the Hancock Ranges and Brockman iron ore projects, for which it has an exclusion option to acquire 51%. Of the 17 samples taken across the two projects, numerous assays returned greater than 60% iron, which is direct shipping ore quality, technical director Bill Brodie Good said.
