Hello and welcome to shareprices.com

I’d like to start off by saying welcome to shareprices.com and thank you for visiting our new site.

Shareprices.com has been launched following the huge success of its predecessor www.onlinesharedealing.net, and provides free share information on all London Stock Exchange listed companies, sectors and FTSE indices and makes buying and selling shares as easily and painless as possible.

New benefits of the site include upgraded functionality (new sectors and indices and be added to a watch list), a newly added portfolio section, an improved, easier to follow risers and fallers section and faster on-screen updating of prices and index values without the need of having to refresh the browser. All of which work towards a quick and simple to use platform that allows traders to make immediate and educated decisions, whether selling or buying – which as we all know, of huge importance.

We also offer a detailed news section that is updated daily and provides information about risers and fallers from the days trading. This is also a great way of being introduced to companies that may otherwise be overlooked.

If you have any questions or suggestions on how the site may be improved, please feel free to leave a comment below.

Until then, happy trading.

I like the new company screens. What’s a Day’s Volume?

Hi Marvin, The day’s volume is an indication of market movement of a particular company throughout the trading day, it can also be referred to as cumulative volume, we thought Day’s volume made more sense!

Hi Brian, VWAP is a trading acronym for Volume-Weighted Average Price, the ratio of the value traded to total volume traded over a trading day, It is a measure of the average price a stock traded over that day. Prices are delayed by 15 minutes.
